“Bo-Won Keum is a designer in New York, NY. She maintains a research-based practice that observes, deconstructs, and isolates the effects of unyielding systems instituted by various sectors of our sociopolitical world. Her publication, Dear Books to Prisoners: Letters from the Incarcerated(with Books to Prisoners) has been presented at Brown University, the Maharam Foundation, and Design Indaba. She holds an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in comparative literature from Princeton University. She splits her between teaching, managing independent projects, and designing for the arts publication, Triple Canopy.”
