Applications are now being accepted for the Newark Museum Summer Internship Program.

This program is designed to provide interns with an overview of the museum industry at large and the Newark Museum specifically, as well as the museum’s partnership with the City of Newark.

The program will take place over eight weeks in the summer of 2012 beginning on June 18 and concluding on August 10.

Applications are due on or before April 2, 2012

The beta is currently available for iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad users only. Check back later this year for an Android beta.

Hi everybody! A new club, The Animation Club, meets every Friday at 4:30 in the Mason Gross 3rd floor lounge. We’ll be studying draftsmanship, movement, and composition. This will be a good place to talk to fellow students about animation as well as build skills. Studying how people move can also help improve the gesture and naturalism of any drawings you do, even if they’re not moving, and overall make you a better artist. Hope to see you there!
