VISITING ARTIST: Ruby Amanze February 20, 2019 at 6:40 pm – 8:00 pm CSB Rm. 110 In a non-linear and open narrative, Ruby's drawings explore space as a malleable construct, the freedom to play as an act of revolution, and cultural hybridity as a mundane norm.

SCREENING: "Long Story Short" by Natalie Bookchin February 25, 2019 at 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm Civic Square Building, James J Florio Forum In the moving and immersive film, over 100 people at homeless shelters, food banks, adult literacy programs, and job training centers in Los Angeles and the Bay Area in Northern California discuss their experiences of poverty. Discussion to follow featuring Natalie Bookchin and guest speakers from SHILO (Supporting Homeless and Innovatively Loving Others).
VISITING ARTIST: Monika Bravo February 27, 2019 at 6:40 pm – 8:00 pm CSB Rm. 110 Bravo examines the notion of perception by questioning whether the world we live in is but a mental construction; her artistic practice is used as a tool to decipher the laws that govern the world she lives in.
