MacBook Display

If you have a MacBook with a thunderbolt 1 or 2 connection (newer then mid 2011 and earlier than late 2016), you can use the iMacs in room 228 as an external monitor.

To make it happen:

1. Attach a thunderbolt cable between the iMac in 228 and MacBook.

2. Simultaneously, press the Command key along with the F2 key on the lab computer keyboard. You should now see your laptop screen extended to the iMac. Mirror your display if desired.

3. When finished, simply disconnect the cable.
