My work as an artist naturally gravitates towards being investigations of concepts that interest me as a person going through life each day. Whether they be as simple as experimenting with how images are presented and perceived, or investigations into the metaphysical world, art for me has always been what I call a "practical philosophy". Only through my work as an artist can I discuss the struggle for self-awareness and enlightenment or talk about the complete randomness and absurdity of our lives without having to buckle to a predisposed medium, i.e. essays. Because my topics have a broad range, my mediums have a broad range, including interactive installation, single channel work, or stand alone sound.
